  The staff at this hotel were fantastically polite, helpful and attentive - there was initially a problem with our room, and we were immediately upgraded by the superb reception manager into a suite that had access to a butler. The spa is excellent, the room comfortable....   We stayed in the Carnation room, a spacious Junior Suite with an additional adjoining room for our young son to sleep in. The bathroom was a good size and the generously-sized L'Occitane toiletries were a nice touch.   Very pleased with our stay here. The staff were friendly and the room was beautiful! It would have been much better in the summer to enjoy the stream next to the resteraunt. In the morning we decided to skip breakfast for a lie in, and when we checked out they asked us if they could get us anything to eat for our journey.
