This hotel is Excellent! It had everything that you need and everything was in working order! Continental breakfast was good! The design of this hotel is just beautiful! We had a room on the top floor (no elevator) but the stairs weren't bad! We had a beautiful view from our room looking at the beautiful garden! The staff were friendly and helpful! We had a very pleasant stay!.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made check in a pleasure. They
offered good suggestions for dinner and gave directions. The room was
magnificent! Large and airy with a beautiful bathroom. There was even a
separate sitting area in the room and lots of space to move around the
room. Location excellent and walkable to the Roman baths and city
center. Highly recommend!. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Had a great weekend stay. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet hotel, perfect for relaxing especially after walking all over Bath. Approximately 10 mins flat walk into heart of Bath. We could leave the car safely at the hotel. Breakfast definately set us up for the day. Already recommending hotel to friends and will go back ourselves.
Ayrlington hotel is welcoming, cosy, staff are friendly and breakfast is lovely. I loved bath, and the HOHO bus stop is reasonably close but so is the actual city without being so close it is too busy. there is parking though hope it does not fill up, they say there is enough for each room. I liked that there were not a lot of rooms.
The room was absolutely lovely and the staff were extremely polite,
helpful and friendly. We arrived in Bath earlier than check-in and were
able to leave our car in the car-park in order to walk into the centre
and staff gave us a map and information about things that were going on.
Staff also allowed an earlier check-in for us.
Cannot fault this guest accommodation. Well deserved 5* status. The staff were friendly and attentive and our room and the corridors spotlessly clean.. Very comfortable bed and the view of the Abbey, especially at night, was superb. Breakfast was excellent. I rate the Ayrlington 10/10.
Very friendly greeting on arrival from delightful Hannah at reception. Beautiful period hotel in the classic Bath style, smart and tasteful. Very comfortable bed and excellent view from room.Good English breakfast overlooking lovely gardens and sports fields beyond.
The staff were lovely. The garden is nice. The food is good. The bathroom was spacious. The beds and linens were incredibly comfy. The building was handsome. There was a bar for a nightcap. This is an intimate hotel, more like an upscale boarding house.
We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff were professional and friendly. The room was lovely with a gorgeous view. The hotel has been well decorated with authentic features and furnishings in the room. The breakfast was good.
The room was very comfortable, we stayed in Zen, which we thought at first was out of the way, but we really liked it, it was quiet, we had immediate access to the garden, and it felt like home from home. The breakfast were excellent.
Very friendly and helpful staff and the Owner is amazing - nothing is to much for them, they do all they can to make your stay exactly what you want it to be.
We would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be visiting again.
A very nice place to stay. The room (The Victorian) was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was good with a nice view of the garden. Conveniently located a 5-10 minute walk to Bath city centre.

The service was excellent and the breakfast hearty and enjoyable...again the staff were excellent during a full hotel.
Staff were great. My husband was ill while there and they couldn't do enough for us. Very warm and comfortable rooms and great breakfasts. Within walking distance of city. Would stay here again.
Location is great. Easy walking distance to the city centre. Nicely decorated room, but a bit soiled. Furthermore, a very friendly and helpful staff. In all, a place we may very well return to.
The room was beautiful with great views over to the Abbey.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Parking was available
Location - a 10 minutes walk to the Abbey and centre,
Breakfast!.
The bed was so comfortable. Having a couple of classical/easy listening CDs and a CD player in the room was a nice touch. The view over the back garden towards the city centre was lovely.
Adequate parking in a city where parking expensive and difficult. Really friendly welcome. Well positioned with easy level walk to centre. Comfortable and spacious. Good breakfast.
Comfortable four poster.

Almost everything. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location near
to City centre with limited but sufficient on-site parking. Comfortable.
Good breakfasts.
Charming old world period house with large rooms and en-suite in a very good location near the City Centre. Good breakfast and very pleasant and efficient staff.
I liked that it was only 10-15minutes walk from the town. And that it had parking. The food was great. Overall it was very good and I would stay there again.
Nice location, easy access to town by foot. Exceptionally friendly staff/owners. Nice breakfast, loved the views over to the back garden and town. 5 x *****.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation run professionally in an excellent location for visiting beautiful Bath. Highly recommended.
we had a room at the rear very quiet but small, I had expected a bigger room for the ammount of money paid, otherwise all else OK.
Lovely Garden room with view over the park at the bottom of the garden. Staff very friendly and efficient and superb breakfast.
Very close to centre of Bath,
Staff very friendly and keen to help,
Clean and cosy,
Free access to parking,
Nice breakfast.
Size of the room, well appointed, great breakfast and is within easy walking distance of main centre. Car parking is free.
Overall lovely place. Staff friendly and accommodating, gorgeous
friendly Burmese cats and just a very pleasant experience.
Hannah (at front desk) was extremely friendly and helpful when we arrived that it got the stay off to a fantastic start.
Beautiful and quiet area. Stunning room. Breakfast was exceptional. Quick and efficient. Staff friendly and helpful.

It's a great hotel in an excellent location. Wonderfully maintained, comfortable, clean and nicely furnished.
Staff was great and location was just far enough away to be private but
close enough to walk to Bath Centre.
Spotless
Friendly staff
Very welcoming
Beautiful surroundings
Hotel had a lot of character
Ideal location.
Excellent service, friendly helpful staff. Great location only short walk into the city. Good breakfast.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the general feel of the place was comfortable and nice.
Excellent location, staff and breakfast. Very well stocked tea/coffee with biscuits replenished daily.
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.
Lovely fusion of oriental with British classic decor. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.
Nothing.
no elevator, so be prepared if you have to haul large suitcases. Parking is a little tight. The location is perfect in good weather (short walk to city center), but will seem remote if the weather is nasty (it's on the other side of the river from most attractions).
Nothing.
Nothing.
There was a bit of traffic noise intermittently through the night- a room at the rear may avoid this.
-Bar - far too expensive - no fridge provided -There is no other food
provided - Would be nice to have had dinner Coffee in the lounge -
Wifi is tricky.
Room was a bit hot at night maybe a small air con unit could be provided but that's about it.
Nothing! Really there isn't anything to dislike!!.
There is no lift and so staying on the top floor meant lugging baggage up and down several flights of stairs. The bathroom was well equipped but but the shower was over the bath and for older people a little hard to get in and out.
Nothing really.
Not great on facilities - 1 night on returning we would have had to call through to the owner to get a drink from the bar.
There was some dust in the room and it would have benefited from some 'touch up' work - bearing in mind this is classed as 5star.
Although the breakfast was delicious (scrambled eggs and smoked salmon) I thought a few extra touches would have improved it such as home-made jams and breads or at least some sort of bread which wasn't from a sliced pan.
Hotel quite hot. (although fan supplied)
A little pricey.
Bathroom was a little tried.
Hotel on busy road, but as we were at the back this was not a problem for us.
Car park a bit small.
Nothing comes to mind.
Shower bhad a few problems.
Minor problem in that the shower screen (Chinese Room) allowed water to
leak onto the floor.
TV in room was very small .Windows in Room were broken one could not be opened and the other was held open with a piece of wood .Temperature was 30+C so this was a bit annoying after paying 310 pounds for a two night stay.
They only thing I would say is that when you walked in it smelt of fry ups.
Parking was free and we always got a place however it was at times a little tight to get a space. But that is the only problem if it was a problem at all as like it said we always parked.
Plumbing left a little to be desired - very noisy and not the greatest
water pressure.
There was actually nothing I did not like.
Car park at the hotel was quite difficult to negotiate with a large car.
Breakfast finished as bit early when you are on a relaxing holiday, although you can have continental breakfast in your room.
All good.
The noisey seagulls! But not the hotels fault.
Nothing!.
10.30 check out was a little early.
For a B&B, missing the little things that make it different fm a
hotel - no owner or guest interaction, no "Happy Hour" with
wine and snacks. Our room was lacking character, not to mention a/c,
bar soap, tissues, decent hair dryer and mini fridge. We loved Bath but
not The Ayrlington.
Shame no evening meal available however the positive side to this is we got to sample the local restuarants which we wouldn't have done if evening meals were available.
Only thing is hotel could do with decorating in rooms.
The whirlpool bath didn't work.
No bar fridge.
Not much!.
