  This is a proper pub that does good food and is run by a friendly young couple who deserve success. As you enter there is a dining area to left and a bar area to the right and the pub retains an atmosphere that welcomes both drinkers and diners alike. The George inn is an accommodating, unique, and amazing experience. From the English pub to the well kept rooms we found everything we needed at the hotel. Breakfast was great and the couple who manage the hotel were exceptionally nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area or even people planning to do the tough mudder in nearby Kettering.

  What a gem! Beautiful setting, was able to sit next to river and have a drink on arrival. Lovely out door areas, also a court yard with cover from sun or rain. Lovely welcome shown to your room. The menu has choices to suit all tastes; the food was very well presented using quality locally sourced produce. Our only regret was that our stay was too short.
