A 30-minute drive from South Downs National Park, the Blakedene Bed and Breakfast was built in 1788 and offers traditional English breakfasts, free Wi-Fi and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Each room at Blakedene is individually decorated and has en suite facilities. Each also has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in the dining room which is decorated with antiques. Within a 10-minute walk, there is an English country pub serving home-cooked food. Arundel is a 7-minute drive from Blakedene B&B and Arundel Rail Station less than a 5-minute drive away. There are plenty of scenic country walks nearby, a beach 15 minutes’ drive away, and there is free parking at the property.

Friendly welcome. With current heatwave, fan provided with no asking, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful home with lovely furnishings, decor etc. great attention to detail. Good breakfast and local pub recommended for evening eating, also good. Very comfortable bed. A very warm welcome from the owners, with a well presented room. A nice cup of tea by the swimming pool was a great way to relax after the journey. Full English breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.
