The room was excellent with all facilities. A complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pies on arrival was much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the free parking plus internet was a bonus. the hotel information booklet was excellent giving far more information than many hotels in large chains.All the staff were very pleasant and obliging-nothing was too much trouble. - The proximity to the town and shops were super. The car park was on site and the staff were pleasant and always available if needed but did not pressure us in any way.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful hosts with good recommendations if you don't know Ambleside very well. We booked two rooms as we visited with family from overseas. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodatingThey provided us with many tips on the area. My parents liked the place so much they went back to stay again a few days later. Perfect location and lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend Ambleside and this guesthouse!

Simon and Lisa were wonderful hosts and took care of every need. The room was lovely, spacious and had every amenity. We especially enjoyed the fancy coffee machine just outside the room and the free parking space they offered, as parking in Ambleside comes at a premium. It's merely steps away from all shops and restaurants. A huge bowl of fruit, plenty of brochures and a fridge waited for us in our cozy breakfast nook. Our 3 days there were just lovely.
