Comfortable, well presented, good food, pleasant and helpful staff, very convenient location. Were able to drop our bags off early which was very useful. - Very comfortable rooms, well decorated. Excellent location of hotel for arena, shopping centre etc.

Excellent value for money. (An added bonus was its location alongside the grammar school I attended 1943-48 which I hadn't seen since then!) - We were attending a local wedding and all the staff were very helpful providing directions and information regarding the venue.

My husband loves the pillows, I liked the idea of the single bed next to the double bed and my son loved everything. I found the staff both pleasant and helpful. The room was neat and very inviting. We were in a hurry when we arrived as we were en route to a funeral. We were able to go into our room at 12.30 and sandwiches were brought promptly when ordered. The staff were fantastic and the service was excellent even though there was a big wedding going on. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. - The hotel was marvellous all round - pleasant staff - reception, room cleaners, staff in the restaurant - room easy to relax in - food excellent.

It was within easy-access of the M1, but was set within a quiet village. It was comfortable and clean and the owners were friendly and polite. Excellent breakfast. The owners recommended the pub next door to eat, where the food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. -

I found it strange that previous reviews complained about there being no lift, and that their rooms were some way from reception - well it states that on the information page on this really interesting hotel.
