with disabled access for my parents, one family room for my brother, his
wife and two youg children plus a third for my husband and I. All rooms
had been allocated close together on ground floor. Noted how quiet it
was despite busy road and tram outside. Good parking. Restaurant very
good with plenty of choice and meal deals available including breakfast.

Bedroom and bathroom were both very clean and to a high standard.Room facilities of tea/coffe, kettle, hair dryer and TV were great.Breakfast had an excellent choice of items.

Excellent value for money. (An added bonus was its location alongside the grammar school I attended 1943-48 which I hadn't seen since then!) - We were attending a local wedding and all the staff were very helpful providing directions and information regarding the venue.

the dining room staff were so friendly and helpful...nothing too much trouble...Diane and Natasha were lovely people and treated us almost as if we were friends! the breakfast choices were superb and we felt well looked after.. despite there being 500 rooms we hardly saw anyone in the dining room, although we went down at 7am each day.. Excellent service by the hotel staff. They were all very friendly and attentive. The hotel is the city centre so an excellent location. Amazing staff, both on reception and in the restaurant. They were lovely and very helpful. I couldn't stay for breakfast and one particularly lovely man in the restaurant insisted on making me a bacon sandwich to take to the station with me. Wrapped in tinfoil, even had the bread lightly toasted to keep it firm, so thoughtful. He also put a few little muffins in the paper bag in case I wanted something sweet. The staff were fantastic and the service was excellent even though there was a big wedding going on. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. - The hotel was marvellous all round - pleasant staff - reception, room cleaners, staff in the restaurant - room easy to relax in - food excellent.

Good sized room, clean and comfortable. Bar food meal we had was really delicious and on an offer of 2 mains for £10. This was the cheapest and tastiest meal in our 10 day tour (and we had had some really great meals). Bath and toiletries good.. -
