Excellent pool, steam room and sauna... great to relax. Room was a good size, nice bathroom clean tidy well equipped and right in the city centre. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, right in the centre of town, fantastic courtyard with restaurants to the back of the hotel, and it was such a beautiful weekend that you felt you where abroad. My husband loves the pillows, I liked the idea of the single bed next to the double bed and my son loved everything. I found the staff both pleasant and helpful. The room was neat and very inviting. Everything was new and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside was that the digital television was not working properly and we had to change rooms to get any television to work at all. Otherwise all was great. We stayed two nights for a family funeral and hills a buffet reception for family and friends. The food was good. We dined in the hotel restaurant both nights and were very impressed. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and very spacious. It made it a little easier to cope with such a sad occasion.

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, helpful, smiley!!! and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel although situated on a roundabout, you wouldn't have known it, was in a perfect location for seeing all the beautiful places around the area. Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Snake Pass all just a few minutes drive away. Beds were amazing probably the best nights sleep in a hotel I've ever had. Restaurant was brilliant, food really good, and again the staff were fabulous.

Nice hotel and good swimming pool. - very clean comfortable hotel -all hotel staff -in reception, lounge bar , restaurant and leisure area were very helpful at all times. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends
