  What a lucky find we had at Hillside House, such a friendly family team, who make you so very welcome. Our room was a delight, quite large with a large bathroom, with both shower and bath. We stayed in a double room, which was a very good size along with a good sized bathroom. The room was very clean and well furnished and in excellent order.   We had booked another hotel for the night, a 2 star country hotel with very good reviews and in a peaceful location to find while in Devon on the day of our stay the original hotel had double-booked so letsbookhotel.com found us The 4 star Belmont as a replacement. The Belmont is spotless and the staff are excellent, can not do enough to be of service. - I came for a break-away from a stressful life. It was perfect for comfort, always interesting view from the warmth of the big lounges, and the easy access to the enchanting Town. And the numerous staff were so very discreet with their cheerful friendliness.
