  What a lucky find we had at Hillside House, such a friendly family team, who make you so very welcome. Our room was a delight, quite large with a large bathroom, with both shower and bath. The room was very clean, with a very fresh seaside feel to it. It had lovely views over the front of the property, down over the fields, and you could just se... cosa dice la gente » e the sea. We stayed in a double room, which was a very good size along with a good sized bathroom. The room was very clean and well furnished and in excellent order. We found the service to be excellent, very friendly and helpful. We only had chance to eat in their restaurant once, but the food was of a good standard. The open fire in the bar is so lovely!   The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar. I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad they give you on check in was a superb addition. Location is great, The po - This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices
