Fantastic facilities for the price, gym and swimming pool, provide you
with a towel and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was nice
and clean. It's a good proximity to the lg arena. Took us 10 minutes
to walk there and they've signposted it. Really enjoyed our stay and
next time we visit the lg for a concert well be returning.

As we arrived the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was
very clean and comfortable.As we were staying for one night to see a
concert at the lg Arena we did not use any of the facilities but
again the staff were extremely helpful when we needed to book a taxi
to the arena. Also the bar area was very good although it was busy
the staff again made it easy to get served as they were very
organised and fast. The food we ordered came quickly and was very
good with good sized portions.

A very good stay andwell worth the money, I would defiantly book this hotel again. Thestaff were very friendly and have excellent service. Over all I verymuch enjoyed my stay.

- Staff where incredibly helpful! Becky on reception and the young lad in the restaurant where friendly, helpful, chatty and really made my stay. They are the reasons I will be coming back.

Car parking was good and the extensive grounds were very well maintained. Bar was ok and staff friendly. Breakfast was freshly prepared and of excellent quality with a good selection of cereals.

In particular we would to thank Patrick Walsh, from the restaurant, for his efficient and friendly manner. Even though he was extremely busy, it never affected the service he provided. The fact that the staff were focussed on the guests' needs at all times. They were obviously working as a team under the ethos that enthusiasm and professionalism establishes the standard of the hotel - and it worked!
The concept of the hotel was interesting (an eye hospital transformed into a luxury hotel) and that difference added to its charm.

We used Hotel du Vin as a base for a hen party and enjoyed drinks in the bar, booked Afternoon Tea and a Cocktail Masterclass, along with the accommodation. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for everyone and suited our trip. A lovely weekend and appreciated the little touch of having the Hen's name outside the function room we were using for the Cocktail Masterclass. Ive stayed in many hotels in the centre of Birmingham but for me this
hotel outshines them all for £99 you get a great room in the centre of
Brum near the shops, near the nightlife without the Noisy sleepless
night of Hyatt Crown plaza and Jurys Inn. I cannot fault this place if
it is a touch more dearer than some other hotels you will only regret
not paying to stay here

The staff couldn't help you enough,. Hand on heart the best hotel I have stayed at for a long time. I stayed in the queens room, which I got on letsbookhotel.com at a cheap rate ( just like the ad, ha ha but true) . With the queens room the continental breakfast was free, fresh and in the executive room. Which was calm cool and quiet. I hear the full cooked breakfast was £25 pounds, but I was happy with the range of fresh bread , ham on the bone, cheese, and all the bits you would expect.

Very warm welcome at reception and from guys on the door. Lovely spacious twin room, really cosy beds, excellent powerful shower, lovely massive towels...everything was spotless! Made use of the fantastic leisure facilities too - v well equipped gym, lovely swimming pool / sauna / steam room and jacuzzi. Highly recommend!!!
