Was a bit wary given the bad reviews, but this was a fantastic experience. Lovely old castle with modern facilities, friendly staff, peaceful location with large grounds, huge beds, superb breakfast, and the gym and pool facilities were top class. Great value for money. - Attended a birthday party at a function suite close to Ardo House

Staff were very friendly and pleasant and the check in and out took hardly any time at all.
Location was perfect for union street. We got parked outside the door (£4.00 for 2hrs if it is between 8am and 8pm)
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet so we had an excellent night's sleep.

Ben on reception was very friendly and welcoming and obviously very good at his job. Loved the location, conveniently located just off Union St (passing an Oddbins en route) and really only a 5 minute walk from the train station. A very quiet location too...had a good night's sleep.

praticamente tutto - This is our second stay at the hotel. You get a warm welcome as you arrive and this carries on through all the staff. You are treated like a guest instead of just another number. I liked everything about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, nothing is too much bother. The rooms are comfortable and clean as is the beds. Adjustable mattress beds, air conditioning, non slip floor in bathroom, sprinkler system, large walk in shower with controls easily accessible and not beside rain shower head. Staff friendly and professional. Late check out not a problem. Money off breakfast voucher.

The hotel staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient. The decor was impressive and very interesting. The room was lovely, modern, clean and well presented. Reception staff were very helpful and lovely, easy to get on with. Room was beautiful, very nice decor. Bathroom was spotless, facilities in room were superb! Bed was a good size with comfortable bedding, television was perfect location. Lighting was optional! Fast free wifi service was a boost. Hotel as a whole was absolutely stunning. Overall excellent service and stay! Will defs be staying again.

The staff were extremely helpful on arrival and arranged for my bags to be carried to my room. The breakfast was excellent and the next morning the receptionist remembered who I was and asked how I had enjoyed the wedding I had been attending. Nice clean rooms, bit small but fine for price paid. Bed comfortable. Staff very attentive. WiFi added bonus! All we needed on hand including iron and board. Very central location and was surprised at what little noise we heard. Jacuzzi bath was a highlight. Was worried about only continental breakfast but needn't had been, lots to choose from and

Was only for one night but would stay again. Very comfy bed, clean white cotton bed linen which smelt of that "just dried in the fresh air" smell, not the usual hotel laundry smell. A massive jacuzzi bath, (bit noisy you would have to shout if you wanted a conversation), the colour scheme easy on the eye, quite restful considering. Good substantial self serve continental breakfast the following morning. Friendly staff.

We visited the Cults as we were attending a family party being held in the reception hall within the hotel so it was great leaving the reception and going straight to our room rather than having to hang around waiting on taxis. The whole evening including dinner (which we purchased seperately, not included in room rate) before the event was great

The staff couldn't have been more friendly, efficient and obliging. As we were going to a wedding, we asked if we could get into our rooms before official check in time and it was not a problem. The rooms were charming and the beds were very comfortable with good linen.

Skene Suites Holburn far exceeded our expectations. We had booked a 3 bedroom suite as we were grandparents and parents with 2 year old and 4 month old baby. I cannot speak highly enough of the suite we had- masses of space, lovely lounge , excellent and well equipped kitchen . very large bedrooms - in fact perfect for our needs. Definitely recomm

We stayed over weekend, so it will be more "budget-friendly" category for tourists. Yet, the room facilities and the entire hotel facilities are offering more "Luxury" for all guests. All properties are located at the quiet residential areas lined with traditional architectures. Staff are all professional and guarantees the comfort of stay.

The room was pure luxury. The bath, double shower and all extras ie massage oil, bath oil, candles made for a very relaxing evening. Breakfast was perfect, very filling and the staff met our every needs.
We would definitely stay again. A special treat for a special occasion.
