The staff was extremely helpful. Isa went out of his way in helping me purchase my ticket to Istanbul from Bergama and even drove me to the bus station. I'm very thankful for their kindness. On my arrival, they had just finished installing new HD TV in the guest rooms, which has over hundreds of channels that offer shows in all different languages. Staff very welcoming, offering and helpful. Perfect location for attractions and bus station. Nice courtyard and rooftop communal areas. Provided with heater and extra blankets for the cold off-season nights.

We paid for our stay but did not stay.The welcome was good but I was very tired and wanted a more comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring the ruins around Bergama. Have to run water for a couple of minutes before it gets warm, but it was warm at any time of day (I found this with many hotels/hostels in Turkey). No air-condition. there are some cockroaches when i was asleep suddenly woke up cause a cockroaches was walking on my arm. Breakfast was stated as being 8am but we had to wait on each of the two days we were there. On one night we were the only people there, on the second night only 2 others. Looks scruffy but quite good value for money. Quite frankly everything. There were ants in the room and I did not want to have to worry about them. The room was a little tired but clean. The wireless service was spotty. Tried to pay with credit card and the machine was "broken", so had to use a lot of our cash. The bathroom was not clean. We weren't feeling comfortable with the equipment in the bathroom like the shower and toilette. Old stuff which seemed to be not very clean. small room, the shower is not good. No a/c, no wifi in room, small rooms. Very basic place. Poor breakfast. No air-conditioner (at that price!), The prayer call from the nextdoor mosque waked me up at 5 in the morning. room really small and the whole hostel could really use a little make-over, paint and repair chairs etc.. small room and not so clean.. Very small room. Too expensive for what it provides.
