We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of our honeymoon in Thailand. the location was perfect as a short five minute taxi ride from Phuket airport. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Dewa Phuket and enjoyed every minute of it.
The rooms all had a kitchette which was great if your staying with a fammily or prefer to cook yourself.
Everything that you would need was provided and you felt like you were staying at home.
The Gym's were great, the pool was clean, the staff was very friendly and the beach just a couple of minutres walk accross from the hotel.
The small town was about 5 mins walk from the hotel, but was an easy and safe walk.

The staff were fantastic, so helpful. The room was huge, I had a deluxe room with spa with sea views and the best part was the spa had a small pool attached. Loved it and spent heaps of time in the resort. The breakfast was so fresh and variety was great. Ate at the restaurant several times and the meals were great. Each afternoon you got a plate of fresh fruit delivered. No complaints at all about this resort and highly recommend.

The resort was very pleasant, we stayed at a three bedroom villa with a private pool, which was cosy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied with an acceptable selection. There were two other pools at the property which the kids enjoyed besides the pool in the villa. The place is very quiet and relaxing if you are looking for something away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay there

The Service was Excellent, it was my girlfriends birthday and I did not know where to get a cake and surprise her and I talk to the staff and they assured me that they will have a cake delivered to my room with no charge. The staff was very friendly and very attentive...they made us feel pampered. The room was very nice & clean with a stunning direct view of the ocean. Hotel is medium size that it's quite intimate yet have enough space for different activities. The restaurant, lounge, and beach club are on a very nice location with gorgeous unobstructed view!

We stayed in Happy baby Studio for 4 nights with 2 kids. I think Sunwing resort is the best hotel near the Kamala beach for family based on the following reasons.

The staff at the resort was always very helpful. The common areas and grounds were kept neat and cleaned daily. Our room, the Family Suite, was very large and comfortable. Had a lovely stay at the guest house, the rooms were huge and amazing value for money, cleaned every single day with fresh towels and water. The italian restaurant downstairs is a jewel. For 99bht you get best italian pasta and steaks. its full every evening mostly from italian residence. Excellent have not eat that good italian food since i was last time in Italy....
