  Good walking distance to the ' great palace and others. Only 3-4 minuts walking to the pier where you can take the boat into the city for only 15 baht p.p. On the last pier station (Taksin Station) you can walk easily to the skybar or take the skytrain to siamcenter etc. The room was clean and had everything for a good 2-4 day citytrip.   The bed was the hardest yet on my 3 month trip in S.E.Asia, but we solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was very comfortable. Unlike many other hotels/hostels in the same area, there was air and space - in the outdoor restaurant, the garden and the courtyard for parking. There was a washing machine! Very good. Love the location of this hotel as it is a 5-10 minute walk from the khaosan road so you have can have all the craziness but with somewhere you can go back and have some peace and calm. Theres a great cafe a 3 minute walk from here called Chomp that has amazing food and homemade bread and amazing service.
