  We absolutely loved Zara. We paid extra on arrival and upgraded to the double pool villa for two nights as it was vacant, but then as it was booked out we thenmoved to villa 10 (grand plunge pool villa). We loved so many things about Zara. As there are only 12 or so villas in the resort, most of the time you don't see any other guests. The pools in the single villas are quite sma - This was without a doubt the best resort we ever visited in all our travelling abroad. The garden in which the villas are situated is awesome and right by the sea. This resort is excelent for people who prefer privacy, yet 20 meters walking and you're on the beach. In your private garden by the villa you would think you're alone in the jungle. Every detail of the resort is beautiful. The staff is amazing.   The resort is about 2 mins drive from the centre of lamai and the owners Dave and Paul happily drive all the guests to and from town. Nou and El are both superb and extremely helpful. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. - Very clean and comfortable, really nice personal service. great pool and bathing area.

  the hotel overall is very unique in terms of the way it looks. It is defiantly different from any other hotel. It's very colorful and nice. Staying there was an experience by itself. It has a road to the beach and town but being located on a hill makes it hard to go and come back from the beach. The breakfast was the best we had in Thailand.
