  The hotel has a very large common pool and also two private pools that have direct access to certain rooms. We stayed in a room that had access to the private pool and it was perfect. There room was very clean. If you stay at this hotel you must go to Thai Cat, a restaurant that is next to the hotel on the beach. To get to the beach its a walk thrue the hotelarea, takes about 3 minutes. Long beach is a wonderful beach!!! Go to Thai cat and Sayang at the beach for good food, and "nextdoor" to the hotel at the beach is lovely Country bar!!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Ancient Realm. Having stayed a few nights on a more developed beach farther north before our stay here, we really enjoyed the serenity that awaited at Ancient Realm. Although our previous place was directly on the beach, we still spent a good part of our days there on the motorbike exploring the island. The beach, which is one of the nicest - This resort lived up to all the reviews I read before booking. I can't thank the staff and managers, Dave and Glen enough for their friendly, caring attitude.   Got a great deal, paid around £25 a night, excellent value for money, we have been comparing everywhere on the rest of our travels to here! Maid service every day, massive comfy bed, very clean, friendly staff especially Mal. Highlight was the well sized infinity pool looking out over the beach and sunset.
