The friendliness and respect of the staff. The food and service was great. I would step out the front door of the Aruntara and there was a security officer to make sure I got a taxi or more importantly get across the street.
The streets are syncopated pandemonium which requires a learning curve to navigate a safe crossing. -

All the rooms are very charming and unique, and although we booked a particular room already, the staff was nice enough to let us check out all the available rooms and choose one we liked when we arrived. We loved the Ayutthaya room.

I was in Chiang Mai for 5 days and stayed in 3 different places(busy
time, Chinese new year). Tjr was easily my favourite of the 3. Fantastic

The most that I liked from this hotel it was the front desk service. The lady (I forgot her name) was very gentle and friendly. We arrived a little bit tired from Bangkok with no idea of what to do those days at Chang Mai. She sat with us and explained all the offers about tours and potential places to visit, what was it good or not for us, etc. Also she booked for us the tours that we made. She teached us to order the breakfast the night before and it was ready next day at the hour you asked

We booked a villa in this lovely resort for six nights and loved every
minute from the moment we checked in until the day we left. The staff
were unbelievably friendly and helpful and most had excellent English.

We enjoyed the lovely setting of Siripanna, the low-rise buildings, mixed with villas, the lush, green gardens, lovely unusual pool. Our room comfortable and spacious. Staff very accommodating but you did have to come up with the questions of what to do, touring wasn't openly offered here. Didn't mind that it was slightly out of town, the beautiful setting more than made up for this and the area was interesting. However free shuttles to the main markets and the night bazaar helped.

While there I was ill and the staff upgraded us to the junior suite for no extra cost. The rooms were also great and nothing was too much trouble. - The staff is very vriendly, the boy behind the reception in the eveningtalk a little bit dutch. It's funny
