Staff was very friendly. It was extremely quiet at night and in the morning which was so appreciated. The beds were also very comfortable. -
The hotel was just perfectly located in town, you are felt very welcome
and food lovely.

cortesia della reception,ottima location:vicinissama al lago, stazione ferroviaria a 300 metri per Lucerna. Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We were met at the train station by Suzanne, owner, and taken to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very happy people. Peter, owner, Monika & Tanja were always willing to help and always ready for a chat. Peter introduced us to the town and welcomed us personally to the hotel with free pre-dinner drin

If in Engelberg, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It's not only for the warmth shown by the owners (Kuhn family), its a kids friendly hotel. It is less than 10 mins walk from the station, but with luggage it is not possible to walk (steep roads).... the staff is ever ready to escort to / from the station in their vans (they just need to be informed). A nice view from the balconies + the church bell sound every hour, gives a superb feeling............

The hosts were very caring and considerate. They made us feel at home in all possible ways.
The farm is on a small hill top and overlooks a beautiful valley of farms. The balconies have a superb view.
The food was freshly cooked and served. The breakfast room has an amazing view and we were served freshly baked breads and yummy cheese everyday.

What do you need when going to Switzerland? Lakes, mountains, green fields, kind and helpful owners? If you're looking for this, then this house is for you!!! We felt real Swiss spirit while staying there! Balcony has a superb view to Pilatus mountain and Lucern lake, apartment was large with everything you need.
