  I had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is family run and they made me feel very welcome. The building has lots of historic charm (its almost 120 years old) but is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and the free to guests community centre pool and spa were wonderful. Pontresina is very central to the Engadine hiking areas and more affordable than St. Moritz. The free summer lift pass for the mountains was a welcome and unexpected bonus.
