I had stayed with my husband at tandem guest house for 2 days.
I must say that I completely enjoyed my stay. The rooms were super clean with clean bedsheets, so were the bathrooms. The breakfast was simple and good.

Everything was excelent! the room, the stuff, the ocean, the weather, the facilities. The people are very friendly there! :-) we bought a good excursion from the hotel - "lagoon tour" - I am sure that you would like it!

The owner and staff are very friendly, honest and helpful. The hotel is simple but with a lot of charm and atmosphere right at a beautiful beach not spoiled by tourism yet. I can highly recommend it for people who don't need high standards but prefer a unique and authentic place.

From the moment we arrived in the quaint town of Hikkaduwa we were met with 5* hospitality! A member of the Villa Tara staff had been waiting for us from the main street all day to guide us up the gorgeous windy village track, across the local railway line, to the most beautiful hidden villa on this little off street path.

The staff was very friendly. The manager was a very nice guy that took time to explain many places to go during my stay in Sri Lanka and gave me the map that he had hanging on the wall in his quarters . The night air was cool and very quiet. You can just barely hear the sea. If you lay at night you will see fruit bats flying above head, and the tranquil sound of nature buzzing.
