The hotel is an old typical building in the old town that has recently been renovated beautifully. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was big, modern designed, with a splendid and huge shower enclosure. The breakfast was delicious, with home made cakes and wide variety of sweet and savoury specialities. It's a family run hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We had to change our reservation in the last minute and they made it very easy for us and . tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
This hotel and all the staff are the very best. When our car broke down they could not have been more helpful and did everything they could to ease a stressful situation. Our hearfelt thanks go to each and every one of the staff. The rooms are comfortable and attractive and the breakfast is wonderful and served with a beautiful smile. We would love to come back.
Quality of architectural finish; location; people were very friendly, the lady on reception when we a arrived could have been my mother - really pleasent and helpful even with our collective language challenges. And the young girl who served us at breakfast went out of her way to assist..... thanks. Exceptional, exceptional, exceptional!!!.
Charming and quaint and full of character. Expertly renovated old building with all modern fittings and bathrooms right in the old town. Attention to detail eg special shampoos, fresh home made breakfast items, fresh flowers, classical music. Quite a treat.
The setting is magical.
The building is medieval but has been converted into a hotel to a very high standard.
Wonderful breakfast.
Fairy tale views.
Delightful staff.
The room is luxurious and unbelievably well priced.
Friendly service and informative. Great breakfast and smart new decor and near the heart of the village with several well priced eateries with interesting local cooking to try! Great!.
Great hotel to stay in everything was excellent however difficult to find many restaurants open for dinner on a Sunday night. Beautiful village to explore. Breakfast very, very good.
Spacious room excellent bathroom spotlessly clean great location and hotel owner could not be more helpful. Our next trip will be planned so we can stay here again.
Comfortable and a cut above similar hotels. Full of character and convenient location to park, find a restaurant and also visit the wonderful old village.
Very nice hotel in Sos with a good breakfast. We really loved staying. The standard room is large and comfortable. Highly recommended!.
Absolutely wonderful B&B and the owners were charming. The stylish renovations fitted perfectly with the beautiful old building.
Comfortable, well presented and decorated, in an historic building in the old town, close to all attractions.
Nice breakfast.
Quality, The location in the old town. The breakfast. The warmth of the staff and the quality of the advice offered.
The quality of both the hotel and the service together with an excellent position in the old town.
Location is great, breakfast was perfect. Room was perfect and so is Sos
Rey Del Catolico.
Good staffs, bedroom, atmosphere. Very good hotel while it has only 3 stars.
Recently renovated, really nice room.
The hotel and staff cannot be faulted,.
Not much.
Not much English spoken by some staff (maybe not too many foreign tourists?). Very hard to find anywhere to eat in the old town in early Nov 2013, we had frozen spaghetti noodle "paella" at a bar!!
No English translations of any displays at the Tourist Info (birthplace and Palace ofFerdinand).
Leaving.
Dustbins emptied in the car park 3 floors below at 730am was a shame as the balcony and view were lovely! Parking could be an issue but will be resolved soon!.
Only stayed one night en route from Bilbao to Llafranc so we didn't have time to explore the area.
Our stay was too short! Parking was a bit of a problem but then the original town planning was not done with cars in mind!!! The altitude can be a bit challenging for some.
Nothing - I had no criticism of any aspect of the hotel.
Breakfast. No hot food or eggs. Price could be lowered a bit more.
