  A very good experience: Basically a student dorm that is rented out during the summer. It's clean, comfortable and handy for the town center if you don't mind taking a bus (the #5 or 25, 1.60 euros each way). Our room, #157 was great and I recommend it: it's a corner room and very quiet.It's warm at night, but otherwise no complaints. (Even though it's out - Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.

  I booked this Hotel for a four night mini break to watch the Heineken Cup quarter final between Biarritz and the Ospreys on Saturday 10th April.We could not have chosen a better Hotel right opposite the Anoeta Stadium.   This is a wonderful hotel if you want to be located on the beach and close to the historical district. We were not lucky enough to get an ocean- view room, but it was no big deal as we didn’t spend much time in our room. If you are driving, make sure to reserve parking in advanc - the room we were allocated was amazing. it looked out over playa de la concha. it had a balcony & you could stand & look over the beach, up & down the promenade to headlands. the breakfast area was glass fronted & you could look out to the beach. the rooms were generous in size. the complimentary toiletries were generous. the staff were friendly & helpful. the location is excellent. close to shops, old part of city, transport.

  We have spent 2 months backpacking. We have stayed in albergues, campgrounds, monasteries,pensions and hotels and HOTEL CHOMIN has been our favourite! It isnt 4 star impersonal luxury....it is unpretentious, comfortable, quiet, near the beach and a lovely 15 min promenade walk to the city.   Had a good kitchen facility if we had known restaurant would be closed. Vending machine good. Price good but for a hotel so far off beaten track you need to be prepared. Lovely views. - Everything looks new and very clean! Bedsheets etc is all like in a good hotel. A lot of space. Green territory. Huge space for breakfast. Ideal for families.
