What a gem this place is! From the minute we arrived, we felt as though we were the only people who mattered. Dany and Joaquim who manage the reception made us very welcome. The best accomodation (for leisure) I've ever had. Location: excellent if you're interested in relax and peaceful atmosphere, close to unique Papagayo beaches (15 min. walk) and ordinary Coloradamar beach for those lazy ones (2-3 min. walk) :). Two supermarkets are nearby (Roper: 2-3 min.walk, HyperDino:5-7 min.walk). Bus stop is right in front of reception. If you travel with children, the playground is 2 min.walk. Villa set in a nice quiet neighborhood. Outdoor pool & patio area very private. Villa well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 2 adults & 2 teenage girls (Nintendo Wii in Villa a great idea). Staff very helpful and prompt when dealing with any minor issues or queries. Villa about 20 minute walk to center of Playa Blanca (only €3 in Taxi). Excellent family holiday, we will stay there again.

Jose has restored an old summerhouse to offer quirky, yet comfortable, accommodations on the outskirts of a sleepy village near the National Park. We found the location ideal for us. Aparthotel Rubimar is a leasurely 20 to 25 minute walk away from the main port of Playa Blanca. The walk is along the seafront, like a prominard but not in a commercial looking way. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel, well worth a visit.

Perfect location, with bars, supermarkets and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away. Excellent room which faced the pool and got the sun all day, which was great to sit on after a day out walking or at the beach.
Everything was perfect, especially as myself and my partner were self-catering, and kitchen provided us we everything we needed.
Have already recommended the Rubimar to friends.
