  Staying at Casa Lucas was the most wonderful experience. The whole family were so welcoming.   The gentleman who runs Domus Itineris is wonderful. He does all he can to make your stay perfect. It is a simple hotel, very clean, nice bathrooms. A wonderful living room at the end of the hallway. Simple but adequate breakfast. I highly recommend Domus Itineris if you're staying in Samos. Mass/vespers at the monastery is a great experience... cosa dice la gente » also. Nice place to stay while on the Camino. - Great location behind the monastery and very good value. We had a private bedroom and bathroom but the communal bathrooms also looked very nice. The whole hotel was very clean and well maintained, with excellent laundry facilities and pleasant communal lounges. Also the cafe/restaurant next door had an excellent Peregrino menu of the day!

  We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !! I d stay there again ~~)

  I used O Muino de Pena whilst walking the Camino and as a walker, an historian, and a lover of fine food - it is the perfect place.
