We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we
emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police
station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city
aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was

It was excellent in all ways *
it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !!

Rustic, converted large farm-house with some traditional artefacts - a very different experience. Refreshing, but basic, outdoor pool by lemon trees. Breakfast basic, but pleasant. Within 30-40 mins drive of the islands of A Toxa and Arousa.

Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Small, family-run - e.g. very helpful with offering me a lift back up the hill (land slopes steeply down to the lake). Lovely dog! Good food. Super comfortable bed with lovely linen in characterful old building (original timber rafters etc.), remodelled sensitively.
