We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we
emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police
station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city
aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was

It was excellent in all ways *
it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull, especially Candy. The location is amazing. We booked a room with sea view which is definitely worth the money. Lovely breakfast buffee and even in the evening they prepared whatever we fancied. At times it didn't feel like being in a hotel but to stay with friends. -

Delightful converted monastery. While the rooms were basic the building and its gardens were fabulous - we had our picnic lunch in the cloister gardens. Extremely quiet and a quiet location on the university's old campus. Good continental breakfast. Lots of free parking. Great location, just a short walk to the historic centre. -

O Remanso dos Patos is a little gem of a hotel, situated in the truly beautiful Ribeira Sacra region. The hotel is full of character, and the restaurant is a delight. There is a lovely little swimming pool which is ideal for cooling off after a day's sightseeing- especially welcome as we arrived during a heat wave! Natasha, Antony and the rest of their staff were very kind and helpful.

Nice location overlooking river. Good BP garage next door with bar/cafe. Hotel staff very accommodating, (althought the restaurant was closed - Sunday) they made us a lovely dinner. Breakfast was included. Son of owner gave us directions to start our Camino walk, great help!

Great location with beach and ocean front view, only 30' from the beach and very close to other destinations in Galicia, great value for the the money actually the bet hotel price in this area, the owners and staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. -

Excellent staff - very friendly. My mother was ill while we were staying at the hotel and the staff were lovely to her. We really loved this hotel - my room was really comfortable with a jacuzzi bath - very welcome as we stayed in the hotel while walking the Camino de Santiago. Well-appointed, clean room. Really good breakfast and evening meal. The family running the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our two-night stay. We were on a walking holiday and they picked us up on the route and dropped us again. They could not do enough for us. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the hotel and we will certainly return if we are in the area.
