I stayed here in 1977 and again in May 2013 and was surprised at how little has changed. It has been enlarged, but the welcome and atmosphere are still the same.
The hotel sits on a hill above the town and is only a short walk down to the centre of town but a steep walk back up. The location is perfect for a stopover near to the motorway.

A lovely little hotel in the heart of Merida.Once the car was parked, a couple of hundred metres away, then everything is accessible. Just down the road from the ampitheatre and the "tren turistico" Take the road train (a bit cheesy I know) for a fact finding locator of all the Roman monuments.

... cosa dice la gente » s in a great location and the staff was very friendly. We arrived late in the afternoon were given lots of good recommendations for places to eat and have a drink. The man working at the desk offered to take our bags to our room or show us around if we had any questions. The rooms were good sized and comfortable.

We only used this guest house as a one night stopover and therefore was not able to use the facilities available. It is a lovely modern property and we were made very welcome but left to our own devices as the owners live off site. We think it is an excellent place to stay if exploring the city and district. Especially good for a family stay.

Very clean, helpful reception, street parking in quiet area felt safe, a very basic hotel-just a small reception and bedrooms. Breakfast was very good and served in bedrooms- no bar or dining room. All we needed and very good value. -

Easy driving distance to old city and major supermarkets.
Very friendly atmosphere especially in the bar. We chose a room ( not a cabin ) which was quite small but with en suite and large terrace. Self-serve laundry facilities. -
