I liked that it was a little walk from the main town area and a bit off the path.   We enjoyed our stay at this hotel which is located very close to the harbour and the city centre. The harbour is only 5 mins walk with excellent resturants ( try La vida which was a fair price and excellent food), The walk to the center centre was also very short ( approx 10 mins max). The hotel owners are very friendly and multi- lingual and great host - We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Ceiba Maria! The owners, Sindy and André, were always there to assist or recommend whatever and whenever needed. It's a very clean and nice place which being located at the end of the street is at the same time close to the beach, marina and all the city centre entertainments as well as the local bus stop.   It's a very comfortable apartment that had everything we needed. The weather was chilly at night, so it was great to have some heating. Also, the owner waited up very late for us to arrive, which we really appreciated. The location is wonderful - lots of nice cafes and restaurants, several beaches very nearby.
