  One word - amazing! I've stayed in many hotels, and some extremely luxurious 5-star hotels, but I don't think I've stayed in a more luxurious hotel than this! Very attentive staff too both on arrival and also beforehand in helping make a reservation at a winery who I was having problems contacting. I stayed a couple of months earlier in the same town in Covento Las Claras but for the small difference in money there is a sub - Reception staff were very helpful. The contemporary design in the hotel was extremely comfortable. The bedroom was spacious, clean and luxurious. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is on the edge of Penafiel and only a few mins walk to the centre of town.
