Lovely 10 minute walk along the marina walk to the cathedral and town. The room was very posh and modern, everything in the room was functioning and clean, the staff were extremely friendly, and the breakfast buffet was great.   Absolutely fabulous find. Would definitely stay here again, wouldn't consider looking at another hotel. All the staff are just lovely. I was a little concerned about being in a slightly downmarket part of town as mentioned in previous reviews. Not a problem. I wouldn't say the area was downmarket at all. In fact the one block walk to the marina front takes you through a charming wooded park. 5 minute walk to the bus stop. Fabulous Jacuzzi on the roof with a view to die for (Cathedral, city, castle, harbour). Small pool. Food was excellent - we tried breakfast, lunch & dinner at the hotel - very fresh, tasty & large portions.
