  Very simple, very friendly, very clean, felt very safe, best located to explore the city of Madrid, very close to Metro Chueca, Bars and shops (very Gay friendly) close. No breakfast, but coffee/tea maker in the room.   This was our third visit to the Cervantes, so you can see we like it! The staff, Fabio and his assistant, are very friendly, and you are at once on first name terms. The rooms are very small, so don't take too much luggage! They are comfortable and clean, and some are very quiet. The ancient lift, recently inspected for safety, is more efficient than many in large hotels! Above, all the location is excell - The Cervantes hostel is very well situated, 10 minutes walk to the Atocha train station and 10 minutes walk to the Puerta del Sol. Staff and owner are very kind, smart people. Bed is very comfortable, claned rooms and bathrooms, which are inside the rooms.

  Location was perfect. 5 minutes walk from the Grand Via Metro. Reception 24hrs. Maria (the host) was very friendly and helpful. I felt like being at home rather then a privat mini hotel (especially after four days). The rooms were cleaned every day which includes fresh towels (to my very own surpise). It is strong and reliable . My room (220) was nice, spacious and quiet. Very clean and lots of fresh white towels. There's a coffee and refreshments machine in the lobby. The area were the hostel is located is terrific. My compliments to the sweet staff.

This place is near 2 underground stations, but we never needed to use the underground. - The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They also let us leave our suitcases after check out until very late (11pm) - Price is great for what you get. We paid about 35eu - Very good location in the city center, between Sol and Sevilla metro stations. When checking in I got keys to the room and front door, which was very convinient, because in other hostels sometimes you dont get the keys and have to leave them at the reception desk every time you get out (which is something which I really do not like in other hostels).

  location is more than perfect in the middle of the very live street in Madrid. you can just go down and you will see people still going walking everywhere even at 2:00pm. Staff were friendly and you can leave your luggage there after checking out.   The staff was really nice and at our service all the time. It was very clean and the two bedroom room is relly big and has it's own bathroom, and the price for 6 days was excellent. The location of the hostel is very good, everything in the center of Madrid is nearby, in the walking distance, especially the most famous museums in Madrid. Your really cant complain too much when it's about 30 euros a night in this location. Facility is a bit outdated, but it is cheaper and yet still a lot better and more comfortable than most hostels in Europe of that price range. It is clean for the most part and staff is friendly. We got a three people room for 30 a night.

  The location was excellent and the hostal was really easy to find. We arrived before the check-in time and were given access to our rooms which was great. Our room was clean and we had a view which looked out on to Gran Vie. Staff were friendly and helpful.
