  I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.   Nice place with all that we need during our Travel!! Realy clean, with air conditioning, situated near Placa de Catalonya, which is the centre of the city. Only few rooms are there, so there is no problem with bathroom. Friendly and helpfull host, with a good advices and words for everyone.   I loved the presentation of the flats upon entering, the way the beds were made up, the fact that there was dishwashing liquid, tablets for the dishwasher, toilet paper, rubbish bags etc just to start. Having a balcony was good so we could dry our towels! 5. The utilities were good - kettle, fridge, etc - even towels and basic toiletries were included which was unexpected. 6. The complimentary bottle of Cava was a bonus!

The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

The finishings were beautiful with a luxurious feel in the common areas as well as in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Nice big towels and very nice large bath sheets. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Spain, this was our favorite.
