I woul... cosa dice la gente » d highly recommend to stay in this place during your vacation in Madrid (of course, if you are unpretentious and do not look for something to complain - The staff were really friendly, the couple that run the hostal were really sweet and really helpful. They even arranged a shuttle to the airport for us for 9 Euro each. Breakfast was included (but I never made it), the room was cute, clean, and comfortable.

The hostel overlooks a street with a few clubs/bars so it can get noisy at night.   My wife left her diamond ring and a watch behind as we rush to the airport. The watch has some value but the ring was expensive. We would never expected to get our ring and watch back. To our surprises, when we ask Juan (our representative), he said that the cleaning lady found our items and he will send them back to us. I - The Apartments were really nice. And the staff were quick when we needed them. We were a group of 25 and had some some difficulties with the keys - but the staff sorted everything out. A very nice place to stay in Madrid - close to everything - within walking distance. Thorkild Panduro Thrane P.S. I've already recommended the place to friends on Facabook.
