Amazing location in the heart of the city, in only 5 minutes you can reach the Mezquita of Cordoba. Even if the street is narrow the Hostal has a basement parking which costs 10 euros/day, so you can forget about the problem "where do I park?". Fantastic! Two four-persons appartment (while we had booked rooms) made
our stay in Cordoba unforgettable. A definite recommendation. Clean,
comfortable, great staff, parking, centrally located, great value, all
facilities, Wifi works well, allowed us to leave luggage after check-out
and explained the entire old city. The apartments were spacious and
airco worked well. The lady at check-in desk (she is Colombian) was
friendly and efficient - a true asset for the hotel. We plan to be back!

The location is to die for! We had a car and could actually park it very close to the hostal for free. We did everything walking from there.

The pensione is central, quiet, clean and comfortable. The air con was a pleasant respite from 39 degree temp outside for a mid afternoon siesta. The hosts were friendly and pleasant although we were new to Spain and they had little English we didn't converse much. We stayed 1 night in Pension el Portillo and the room was perfect for that time. It is a rather small family-run business in a very good location (around 5 mins walk from La Mosquita and Alcazar), clean and comfortable, with a lovely owner. I would not choose it for longer stay (3-4 days) but it was perfect for 1 night.

Lovely little courtyard oasis in the centre of the Hostal, small room but well laid out, and a fresh clean decor and comfortable bed. I was in one of the 4 rooms which face each other above the courtyard which meant the noise and privacy aspects concerned me on arrival but it turned it to be very quiet in the evening, nearly all the guests seemed to be in bed at 11pm. The free tea/coffee and cake put out in the afternoon was a lovely touch and really appreciated. Check in was friendly and effic

The pension is really near to the Mosque but on a side street so is nice
and queit. The room was spacious and wonderfully clean. The beds were
comfy and the shared bathroom was right next door. We had a sink in the
room too. There are only 3 rooms so it feels pretty cosy. The patio of

helpful. They have to let you in the street gate which makes it feel
very safe. -
It was a beautiful, clean place and quite small so it felt very homey.
The staff doesn't speak English but were so sweet. I wish my Spanish
was better so I could have talked to them. The location was perfect,
right in the middle of the best part of the city for sightseeing.
Nothing was a far walk. It was about a fifteen minute walk from the bus
station but that wasn't a problem for me.
