Alhambra is not walkable unless you want an 1 hour walk up a hill in 40oC. However you can walk to the bus stop (20 min walk) and then go from there.
I got a coach into and out of Granada and the bus to and from the coach station goes directly outside the hostel.

The room was adequate and very clean. The staff was excellent! When we
had language problems, the owner pulled up a translator online and we
communicated that way. Only a short walk away from all the really cool
parts of Granada. When we needed to print some stuff they even let us us
their computer.

It is an amazing house full of flowers, colours, art, great music and happines, ideal for people with a bit of hippie soul. My favorite place to stay. I think this hotel was excellent value for money..very cheap and in a great location: 2 minutes walk to the cathedral...5 minutes walk to Plaza Neuvo. Best of all it was in a quaint, pedestrian only area near the beautiful Trinidad Plaza (square). The owners were very friendly and obliging. -

Great location. The rooms are at the roof on the 5th floor with an amazing view. Ask for the room with terrace and you won't be disappointed. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Totally recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rodri's Hostel. The staff was
extremely obliging and gave us a lot of helpful information (like nice
restaurants, bars etc.). We first had trouble parking the car, but the
owner of the hotel (I guess) even came with us to our car to park it for
us! The room as well as the bathroom was very nice and really clean. We
really had everything we needed and we highly recommend Hostal Rodri for
a trip to Granada!
