The staff at Numancia, especially the man on the front desk the majority of the time are excellent. All our needs were met and any requests were willing to be accommodated including leaving our luggage there for a whole day (as our train trip was at night). We were even allowed to hang out at the hostel and use the wifi and bathrooms! -

we had a room at the 3rd floor, with a big window and a small balcony looking at calle atocha, it was really nice. the location in excellent. short walking distance to all places of interest. the stuff was helpful and all spoke English in a good level, which is not obvious in Spain. many channels in the TV. there's a room with a washing machine a

We loved staying in this hostal. The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. Everything was clean and we had this room facing the street with a little balcony, just great. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.

The Staff was really friendly and helpful. The size of the room was great for me and just enough for two. wifi is in the room. The location of the hostel is close to shopping venues, metro station and tourist interests. The staff was helpful and kind they gave me my breakfast at night since I was leaving very early before the breakfast is served. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes next to the hostel.

Great location, just two blocks away from "Puerta del sol" and
"Plaza mayor". Clean rooms and bathroom at a great price.
Public parking is just 1/2 a block away. It's a great base
location to walk around Madrid. Senora Remedios and Mr Vicente are the
very friendly couple that runs the place. I recommend it hands down. -

la posizione è sicuramente perfetta rispetto al centro di madrid. ed è anche facilmente raggiungibile con la metro dall'aeroporto. la signora che gestisce l'hostal è mollto diponibile, ci ha aspettato per il check in anche oltre l'orario di apertura. - L'hostal Bahia è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la città

La posizione è centralissima, esattamente fra la Puerta del Sol e la Plaza Mayor. L'hostal è semplice ma pulito, ogni camera ha il suo bagno privato. - Vicinanza al centro e alla metropolitana, camera pulita e spaziosa rispetto ad altri hostal dove ho soggiornato, sempre a Madrid per diverse volte, questo lo consiglierei sicuramente.

I can't fault the stay we had. Staff are uber friendly and very helpful. The location is brilliant and in walking distance to everything. The rooms have everything and include some great bonuses including free mini bar and real atmosphere from the pop art decor. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks -

We cannot fault this little gem in the heart of the Spanish capital. I
defy you to find better-located accommodation anywhere else in Madrid! A
5-min.walk from Plaza Cibeles (2nd stop on the Airport Transfer), 5 min
from metro stops Sevilla and Antoni Martin. Surrounded by great tapas
bars, cosy restaurants, breakfast bars and a corner shop directly
opposite. Plaza Santa Ana is around the corner and major attractions
like Parque Buen Retiro, El Prado or La Reine Sofia are all within 5-10
