  It is hard to know where to start. We had a hire car and the hotel notified us we could use, at a price,some parking nearby. First this was fantastic advice and next we arrived and we cannot express our delight, gratitude and pleasure with the kindness and comfort we received. We got a room in the 3rd floor, the top floor. Maybe that is why we didn't hear any noise from any of the other rooms. It was clean in the room and in the bathroom. Plus with elevator.

The shower was excellent and the bathroom decoration was very pleasant (i.e nice colored tiles specific for Seville). The internet works well as well.

  positive - Excellent location in the middle of old town. Short walk to Cathedral and Palace Alcazar. Next to tapas bars. Check Teresa bar opposite for delicious tapas and try local 'tinto de verano' drink which is a mix of wine with lemon. The hostal is located in a very old house so ready for a piece of history. Place is clean and quiet, friendly staff. This place has - The place had loads of character, we loved the quirky shapes and designs of the place and our room was delightful, and there are some lovely public spaces. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.

  Staff in the reception was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was really nice and staff allways provided us with a bottle of water before leaving the hotel. The location of the hotel is great, just 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. It is strongly recommended. - All in all a fine hotel but nothing extraordinary except very helpful staff. Location was good but very hard to find. Thanks to the review of a previous guest we mentioned the name Plaza Santa Cruz to the taxi driver which we took after we parked our car at a far away and very expensive public parking. Breakfast was so so, not even eggs or fresh juıce.

  I really enjoyed staying here not only for the free sangria but because it was close to the main sights I wanted to see like the Cathedral and Alcázar. I did find it easier to get to the hostel from the stop before the one they tell you but that could just be me!

  The couple that runs this place is so lovely and helpful. Even though they hardly spoke any English, they really tried to connect with me and my friend in English and even bought us breakfast (churros!) on our last day!! I would totally recommend this place as it is right smack in the city centre and a skip away from the Cathedral, Alcazar, Plaza ... cosa dice la gente » de Espana and other sights. - The manager was incredibly friendly, and the evening was surprisingly quiet (the Pensión is located in Barrio de Santa Cruz, a VERY lively night location).
