  Excellent service and delicious dinner at the restaurant. Very efficientand friendly check-in/check-out staff. The location was convenient forvisiting El Escorial and the surrounding area, well-situated foraccessing the highway system.   I booked this place for the first night of a surprise trip to Madrid I booked for myself and my parents. My cousin lives in Alpedrete but has a Chihuahua that constantly barks/yaps when my presence is felt. The Hostal/Hotel El Cano is just what I wanted...
