The room was small (typical for Spain), but with a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer. A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.

  I was staying for 3 noghts, and asked to not be woken up in the morning by the cleaner. I had my privacy, and got new towels every day while I was out.   Friendly staff (one man spoke Spanish, English and French), clean and large rooms, a good bed and a proper bathroom. Very good airconditioning (although you can't regulate it yourself, but it switches off at night so you don't get sick while sleeping). The building pit next to the hostel did not have any negative influence on us, but do make sure you have earplugs. Also - Very friendly and informative staffs. Superb location. La Bouqeria Market, La Rambla Street, Metro station and bus stop is at the doorstep. The room was large with a balcony and shower. The common toilet was always clean. Breakfast was OK. It was the best hostel I stayed in my Eurotrip. If you are in a budget trip. This is where you must stay in Barcelona.

  Staff were friendly and spoke English fluently. The room and facilities were very clean. We didn't think the room was small at all - we could fit both our large suitcases in without any troubles. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful.
