The excellent rate I got through letsbookhotel.com, the spacious, comfortable well-appointed room and bathroom, the lovely old-style feel although the hotel could definately do with a make-over/a bit of freshening-up. The stay was so pleasant and the staff was always available to help. The parking staff was very helpful as I always had a problem with my parking ticket going out. The hotel has employed a wonderful staff members.

When u the u feel home,very clean and spesciovs rooms. I wish to stay more days,one night was nt enough.Breakfast ws to the tea.if there are specials don't hesitate to contact me.I had a wonderful night. A complete package in that the rooms provide that individual attention and makes the guest feel very special. To have an iron and ironing board in the room is a plus as it saves time. The staff was most attentive, friendly and helpful. at every turn. The shuttle service to the entrance of the ICC was a treat and very helpful as I do not do long walks well. My 1st stay at the hilton, I could not afford it before and with letsbookhotel.com it was now possible, so thank you, great hotel, great staff, it was home away from home. Difficult to fault the hotel - the staff, in particular, were outstanding; the food was excellent - both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend it. I enjoyed the comfort of the room and amenities. Lovely hotel. Good location next to ICC. Good food in restaurant although a la carte service can be slow. My husband and I had a comfortable stay. We were happy our requests at time of booking were met. Comfort and the staff friendliness and them always willing to help. The breakfast was excellent. The lift from parking gararge to Reception floor was out of order- the carpets on the stairs leading up to Reception were grubby- screws were used to hold down strips on the tread edge- this first exposure to the hotel was a total let-down. 1. At the restaurant sometimes the waitresses/waiters double sit guests in one table. 2. Parking ticket that was not working whenever I was going out. No air freshners in bathroom wc water did not smell very clean loose cupboard door handles water from shower leaking onto toilet floor (under shower door). Hard to fault anything. My room was a bit cold and the lighting not good enough in either the bedroom or bathroom. However, I have eye trouble. It might have been satisfactory for others. One has to be aware of the location - good for the ICC but care needed when venturing out on foot after dark. There was a mix-up with our bookings and it was quite embarrassing to arrive at the hotel and find out that the reservation had not been made. Luckily this was sorted out later. Nothing. None. Nothing!. Pillows too hard, room lights too dim for reading. There was no one at exit gate from the parking.We had to go and look for the person,who told us he was working alone,responsible for the entrance and exit. Pool was dirty and parking is not free for residents. Nothing I can think of. Too expensive Wi-Fi. A business hotel with not too much charm. Please on the labels describing the food indicate if there are nuts in the items or a list of ingredients. My partner is allergic to Nuts, Potatoes and sesame seeds and I am alergic to shell fish. On the one evening the front line chef was using the same spatula for flipping the seafood and the steak. Big problem for me if I had not seen it. That you get charged for wi-fi connection. Many places offer this free of charge. I made bookings for two king size bedrooms but only got one and instead I was given twin room. I'm really not happy about it. Staff not being able to capture Hilton Awards because I did not have my account number with me. Inaccessible mini bar. n/a. Shower tap wasnt easy to open or adjust. Nothing. Our towels were removed from room on Sunday, but still not replaced even by Monday when checked out. Nothing. in the restaurant, is veryyyyyy cold, daily, and was not comfortable for me,. Notices that are done due to the money charged extra in case I may had utilised some extra facilities in hotel which was meant to cater for such. But not a single email/sms telling me that my money is gone be paid back to my account when. None. It's supposed to be a 5star hotel and there was no dressing gown or slippers available. The toiletries were rationed and few, when requested the staff brought 1bottle. The room lights are not very bright either. not child friendly. Even though breakfast is included with the room, you are charged if you have the breakfast in the room. I felt a bit nervous when i used the gym at around 5am - was the only one there. I didnt like the fact tha I had to pay r400 for my visitor to come into my room. I was alone in my room and couldnt have a visitor, that was rediculous. I was a bit disappointed cos my mom booked us in for our honeymoon and she specified honeymoon couple so one would have thought you guys would have placed some chocolates or flowers even though we didn't request the room be done up for a honeymoon couple so basically for me it was just an ordinary stay.
