  Very friendly staff with good English. Super clean, separate showers and toilets which helps avoid queues. Comfy bunks in dorm room - didn't squeak and move around like most dorm bunks!   We have never stayed in a hostel before and this was definitely superior to many hotels we have stayed in. It was thoughtfully and imaginatively designed and decorated. The staff were very helpful and gave lots of hints and tips about what to see and do, where to eat and drink in St Petersburg. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.
