Just 5 minutes’ drive from Napier's town, The Landing offers rooms with free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and lovely sea or garden views. The property also features barbecue facilities, a tour desk and a guest lounge with a 42-inch LCD TV and DVD player. The Landing Bed and Breakfast is 15 minutes’ walk from the Centennial Gardens, and 3 km from Napier's inner city bus stops. Napier Airport is a 15-minute drive away. A flat-screen TV and a DVD player are standard in all rooms. Each room has a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also feature a private balcony. Breakfast options include organic fruit juices, homemade muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruits, bread and a range of cooked options. There are also a number of restaurants within a 5-minute drive.

Jill and Allan are very genial hosts who could not be more accommodating and were a pleasure not just to meet but to chat to. The views from the house are stunning and the glass walls make the most of the outlook. Jill makes homemade chocolates,biscuits and muesli and provides lots of nice unquantifiable little touches like a sprig of rosemary on the table at breakfast (a rose on valentines day!). Jill makes incredible breakfast, and both of them make us feel very much at home. I have stayed in a few bed and breakfast before, and I have had the best experience with Jill and Alan. They are also very knowledgeable people, and their home consist of souvenirs from their travel. Every little thing in the house, has a bit of history (and maybe mystery) behind them. Apart from that, their humble abobe . Our stay at The Landing was fabulous! From the time we pulled up at the house Allan and Jill were so welcoming. A quality bottle of wine supplied, relaxed informative hosts and a lovely clean modern home. And the views!! Simply put they would have to be some of the best views in the bay. Having booked the Bay view suite we were not prepared for how nice it would be. We slept with the blinds all open just so we could take it all in. Views from everywhere. Jill dropped us off at a local restaura. The hosts (Jill and Allan) were wonderfully friendly and welcoming. As the owners, they take real pride and care about the way they treat their guests and that is evident right the way down to how they prepare each guest suite. The accomodation is flawless, the service exceptional and the only downside to the place is that you eventually have to leave to go home a face the real world!. Jill and Alan were incredible hosts! They went above and beyond to make our experience in Napier and with them fantastic! Great source of information on local activities and sights, offers to drive us into town, bottle of wine in our fridge to enjoy upon arrival, incredible breakfast....5 stars all around!. Wonderful B&B with a spectacular view of Hawkes Bay in Napier. Jill, the hostess, was very friendly and willing to provide excellent recommendations for eating out. Both rooms have very nice accommodations and the bottle of wine that comes with the room hit the spot. Very relaxing place to stay. Jill and Allan were the perfect hosts welcoming us into their beautiful home. Our room was well appointed, very clean with a spectacular view. From a welcoming cup of tea to an amazing breakfast our stay was delightful. Allan and Jill were the ideal hosts. Their home is welcoming, modern, well appointed, very comfortable and comes complete with a stunning hilltop view of Hawke's Bay. It's hard to imagine a better place to stay. The service was first-rate by Jill and Allan. They went out of their way to make sure we had every thing we wanted. Their home was very clean, cozy with great views. Would gladly go back. Warm welcome with friendly hosts. Every effort was made to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Exceptional view from the balcony and living room. Jill and Allan, our hosts were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. They really made us feel at home. Breakfasts were wonderful. Jill and Allan give an exceptionally warm welcome and their service was superb. Please do not change a thing. Great breakfast, generous and engaging hosts. Great views of the bay. Beautifull location and home and Jill and Allan were so helpfull. What to not like about the place?. Leaving!. Carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs. There were absolutely no let-downs. I would not think twice about returning. A bit outside from the city, so one needs to have a car or use a cab.
