We found the hotel to be clean, quiet and efficient.
Giels the owner could not be more helpful and takes great pride in his hotel .
Once in a while you find a gem and this is it.
Although not cheap it is worth it.
Would I use again? - yes.

The hotel Dux is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Stylish and friendly and very comfortable. I loved the size of the bed and it's soft soft bedding. The hotel was lite up for Christmas wraped up in large pink bow just like a present this was very special to me as it was my birthday. Just loved it and I have let all my Fb friends know about it

Superb hotel. Stylish - very clean and comfortable. The bed is fantastic, huge modern bathroom, very good individual lightning in the room. Very kind staff. Breakfastbuffet was ok, secure parking possible for free (just 200m away) or directly under the hotel (fee). But after all it is a BEAUTIFUL modern hotel!!

Hotel in an original setting (a former prison, with the steel doors still present) and a central location (not difficult in Roermond). Very confortable rooms (most complete bathroom kit ever, even includes washing cloth), excellent restaurant, friendly and helpfull staff, computer available for hotel guests), etc. Definitely worth a detour. We stayed in the 'music' room where we were surprised by the use of a beautiful turn table and a very large collection of vinyl records! The experience took us back to the 70s. It was also refreshing to be able to select a DVD from the collection in the room to watch on the television screen. The TV was not connected to satelite or cable.
