  A fabulous apartment - lovely interior design and every comfort - and wonderful hosts, Dennis and Vincent, who could not have been more helpful with restaurants etc. The apartment is in a great central location but not noisy, close to metro, supermarket and easy walks around city to museums.   It's a really a great place to stay at in Amsterdam. All that is said about the apartment and Guido the landlord is true. We had a fantastic time here, the center is really just 10-15 mins of walk, the place is silent and has a nice view on the Amstel river. The Canal Cruise has it's stop just on the opposite side, so you can take two lines just b... cosa dice la gente » y stepping out. I can recommend this place for everyone - Really nice to go "home",after a day of walking and sight seeing, and relax with a nice bath(huge clean tub)and a cup of herbal tea. We also saved money buying a muffin the night before and have our coffee and muffin in the am. before going out. The location is very convenient to all canal boat stops, on a quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood.

Not to mention an easter basket on easter morning. The hotel is on a quiet street in a covenient location near the hermitage, skinny bridge and rembrandt house. We would definetly stay here again.

The weather outside was cold but the heating was on 24 hours with adjustable radiators.
