Riad Dar Alhambra - Foto
Cosa dice la gente
The Riad Dar Alhambra is a beautiful building staffed with caring attentive staff that provides a calm oasis amongst the chaos of the souks. Behind the modest looking entrance door lies a tastefully decorated, traditional building with all the modern facilities you may need. The level of detail attended to in the decor is a sight to behold, with beautiful tiling, carvings and plasterwork adorning every corner.
Breakfast was pleantiful, tasty and relaxed. The home cooked dinners were all delicio. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
We after reading the reviews decided to stayed at riad dar alhambra for
8 nights.we were not disappionted,i think the riad exceeded our
expectations. The building ,the staff and the setting and the food were
all fantastic. Hamid the manager was always proffesional yet casual in
giving great advice on restaurants and day trips out of marrakech.hmid
made our trip memerable. Along with azziza and fatma they make a great
team.its important to book a taxi with hamid before arriving , the riad
is alm.
Can I give an 11 out of 10? A gorgeous house, with beautiful rooms, a very pretty courtyard and an amazing rooftop terrace. The location in the old city is just perfect. But what sets this place apart from any other is the staff, which is incredibly helpful and friendly. Hamid, the manager, provided not just help organizing our trip, friendly conversations, and patient explanations of Morroccan history and customs, but would also invite us to have dinner with him or make us breakfast at 7 in th.
The building was beautiful. Ideal location if you want to be in the
middle of the souks. Staff were friendly, although their English (and
our French) could have been better. Easy to find, once you know where it
is. Ask your taxi driver to take you to the Ali Ben Youssef Mosque...
Wonderful romantic authentic riad. The best we have had in Morocco.
Great atmosphere, great food, great people!.
The spa bath in our suite was amazing. The building is stunning.
The location is great.
Breakfast was good.
The room.
The Dar Alhambra is a place of calm amid the hustle and bustle of the Souk area. While we would recommend the Riad to everybody, the location may not be suitable for the faint hearted, or those who may be worried by being lost inside a warren of similar looking alleys with very limited signage.
If you lose your way in the medina you may have to pay the local youths
for directions which are often intentionally wrong so end up paying
another one for more directions, get your bearings and dont get lost.
This is not Dar Alhambra's fault, but the letsbookhotel.com map is wrong! Do not pay attention to it. This place is not close to the Jardin Majorelle, but rather buried deep inside the Medina.
It's very noisy. You can hear everyone's conversations all the
time!! Its also right next to a mosque with loudspeakers on it that call
worshipers to prayer at 5am everyday - so don't expect a sleep in.
You'll need a guide (at 10 dirham) to find it but that is true for
every riad in the Marrakesh medina.
Nothing.
We arrived there, and we were told that the place was full despite having booked. They put us at the Riad next door.
The staff was a bit too formal but friendly.
