  Mutiara covers all international 4star standards. Reception team is very helpfull and check-in and -out is fast. I generall all personnel is very friendly. Spacious rooms, clean, some engl. It has been extensively refurbished and upgraded. Love the big room, huge twin beds! Breakfast was good, plenty of choices

  3 rooms suite is good for my family's stay. It is spacious and there are two TVs. We love the breakfast. This is a very ideal hotel for my family. My hubby can play golf there while the kids can enjoy the Legoland theme park which is about 30 mins drive from the hotel.   The excellent welcome we had and the good meal in the poolside restaurant. The Manager was very hands-on and had initiated a programme of refurbishment. The pool was very nice and the views over the Straits from the front of the hotel were lovely. It appeared to be a popular hotel for business and families. I was travelling alone and they were especially attentive to ensure that I was safe and well looked after. The location is great, especially for a driver over the border into Singapore. The restaurant serves Italian-Japanese fusion which I had never experienced before but was really great. The live music added a nice touch.

  I like that the staffs are quite responsive and they do follow up with your bookings to confirm reservations. Other than this, nothing needs compliment.

  The view requested was received for one of my rooms out of two which saw the whole city. The cleanliness was good overall in the rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One perticular staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was ok. The shower was awesome. There was a good Indian/Malaysian restaurant newrby the Hotel (just behind the petrol Station). - Front staffs are good although it's not all of them. Our room is very clean, comfortable, and spacy. Everything looks good and new. I really like the bathroom because it has a bathtub with clean, spacy, and modern style. It also has a weigher so you can check your luggage(s) weight if you have a flight after that. Really great hotel since it's relatively cheap if you look to what you get. Overall, this hotel looks good and clean.

  I couldn't ask for a better stay for the price I paid. First time stayed in Hotel Selesa (Pasir Gudang) but stayed 5 times over the period of 2 years in Hotel Selesa (JB)....same management but good enough to suit my taste. - Very friendly staff and very good breakfast.
