  We initially booked a double room but chose to upgrade on site to a suite, including a private onsen on our balcony. This upgrade was no problem and the best descision we could make. It was just LOVELY to share a bath overlooking the river, mountains and town (drinkig together a tea; in the onsen, but don't tell). They are well kept an - The staff were amazing. So attentive and helpful. Just lovely. Close to train station. Spa treatments and facilities. Room service. Everything. Free shuttle bus.

  Yudanaka Seifuso is really a gem of a hotel! The location is perfect, it is less than 5min walking from Yudanaka station and in the most scenic part of town. The owners are extremely friendly and if possible they would drive you up to the snow monkey park or Shibu onsen - both of which are absolutely a must see, especially Shibu. The inner baths are ni - The manager / owner's son Matsuo Ozeki San was very helpful and friendly. Camer to personally pick me up late at night from the Yudanaka Railway station which is less than 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was a traditional Japanese room, very spacious and with all amenities. I really enjoyed their Onsen which was very clean. Being a vegetarian I had opted for without meals plan. Their is a lawson convenience store just around the corner where I could pick up basic veg packed food, fruits
