There were many things I liked as you can see from the rating. The staff, in particular, were friendly and very helpful. They provide a great map of the surrounding area. This was my second time staying in Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro, but my first time staying in the dorm. It's a great hotel, very clean, free wifi and they have converters at the front desk for your electronics. It's really close to Ikebukuro station and there's a lot of good restaurants around and staff available 24 hours a day.

Considering Japan Style the room space was small but enough .
We don't know about food, because we didn't taste -
Superior king room (24 sq meters) was comfortably furnished, with
excellent bed and pillows. Location is close to Suidobashi jr station,
one of the minor and less crowded lines, just 10 minutes from Shinjuku.
Tokyo Dome and LaQua spa and onsen are just behind the station. Good
service from conceirge who got me a seat at the famous Kyubey restaurant
at Ginza weeks before I arrived.

Lovely, clean small hotel, with large, bright rooms by Japanese standard. The staff is very helpful and they speak good English. It is located in a nice, quiet environment close to shops, restaurants and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The staff were really polite here. The price is good for Tokyo and it's only about a 10 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station which is nice. The rooms are on the smaller side but they're pretty standard for Tokyo.

We stayed at the b Ikebukuro twice during our recent holiday in Japan and it was our favourite of all the places we stayed. It is essentially a business hotel but is very stylish and feels more like a boutique hotel. It's just a few minutes from Ikebukuro station, from where you can get easily to almost anywhere else in Tokyo including the airport

Great location, just moments away from Ikebukuro station. The entire hotel was very stylish. The room was comfortable, with a small but excellent bathroom. At night there was no noise whatsoever and we slept very well. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of western and Japanese dishes.
