  Spa Hotel Alpina Hida was great! Everything about the hotel was spot on. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were some of the best we had while in Japan, and the Spa was an amazing experience one should not miss!   The room was a good size for the 2 of us.The bed was comfortable and had nice room controls for the lights on the headboard. I wanted to try out the sauna/spa which sounded intriguing with the aromatherapy mist room, however it was only open in the evenings.
